Conversations over Coffee
Conversations Over Coffee offers an opportunity for small group tutoring and fellowship with our neighbors.
Join us on Thursday mornings to connect over a cup of coffee while helping our neighbors practice their English skills! Volunteers are also needed to assist with childcare and transportation during this time.
English classes
At Neigh’tions, we believe in empowering and uplifting our community. Join us in serving our neighbors during our weekly English classes or one-on-one sessions.
⚘ Provide Transportation
Use your own vehicle or become a Neigh’tions van driver to provide transportation for neighbors to classes and events.
⚘ Teach or Assist in an ESL Class
Help neighbors improve their English through teaching or assisting in an ESL class.
⚘ Tutor a Neighbor
The opportunities are endless! You could help a neighbor improve their English, prepare for their driving test, study for their high school equivalency, and more.
⚘ Join Our Childcare Team
Help teach, love, and support the children and youth in our community by volunteering on our childcare team.
Women Welcoming Women
Women Welcoming Women provides an opportunity for women in our community to connect! Opportunities for rest and fellowship are often limited, so this program creates dedicated time and space for sharing conversation, bringing laughter and joy, exploring creativity through art projects, and more. Come join us and make a new friend!
We are also in need of volunteers to help with childcare and transportation during this time.
Mentor a family
Mentor A Family creates meaningful connections between volunteers and newly arrived families in our city. Help our neighbors acclimate to life in America and share the love of Christ through practical support and friendship!
Share everyday experiences such as cooking an American meal, helping with homework, studying for driving exams, navigating bill payments, or exploring life in Chattanooga beyond their apartment.
We are also in need of volunteers to offer guidance, encouragement, and friendship. Join us and make a difference in a family’s journey!
